I’m very excited to launch this new food blog, The Good Taste Review, which I hope will act as an online resource where you can learn about the culinary products you’re interested in making your own. Here you will find reviews on all the spiffy things you need in the kitchen, such as cookbooks, cooking gadgets, kitchen equipment and more.

The idea for this site sparked because I have so many cookbooks on my shelf that reviewing them would completely take over my other food blog, Wasabimon. With a handful of other compelling cooks on board, I launched this project with the goal of sharing what we’ve learned about the books, gadgets and equipment we use in our own kitchens.

This blog began for one primary reason: we love to eat. As avid cooks, bakers, bartenders and food writers, we really enjoy talking about what works in the food world and what just doesn’t make the cut. We want the opinions posted here to stay fresh and diverse, so you’ll notice that there is a group of us reviewing products and sharing our thoughts, depending on our area of expertise. We’re also making it a priority to keep the group small, because we want you to get to know us and trust our opinions. You can find our bios on the About page.

While this site is still new and we are working on building content for you, there’s lots of great information on our About page, and we’re ready to answer your burning questions about our policies and procedures. We’ve even got an online store where you can shop for your favorite kitchen goodies and look through products that we’ve hand-picked just for you.

If you want to keep up to date on our reviews, there are lots of options to stay connected. You can subscribe to our RSS feed, or have updates delivered right to your email inbox. We’ve also got a Twitter account, as well as a Facebook page you can follow.

Please stay tuned – good things are afoot!

Awesome, looks very classy. I love the favicon =)
Have you checked out http://www.typekit.com? It’s a nice way to get more fonts on your site instead of having to default to Garamond or Times New Roman. sIFR is also a pretty good alternative.
